Nancy Poffenberger's books are sold all over the country in bookstores, education stores, music stores, libraries and in numerous catalogs. She is best known for her ability to simplify music. She has been able to successfully bring music to age 4 on up to adults and has brought great joy to all ages. Her books have been featured in Parent's Magazine, Music For Little People's Catalog, Music Education Journals, as well as many, many city papers. There have been numerous TV shows demonstrating her method. Her keyboard and recorder method begins with the ABC music and eventually takes you into notation.

Nancy Poffenberger graduated from Northwestern University  where she won the outstanding student-teacher award. She taught Elementary school in Palo Alto, California, and attended graduate school at Boston Universtiy.
Mrs. Poffenberger began writing at home while raising four children. She wrote Piano Fun Book One in 1975, and subsequently formed the Fun Publishing Company. Her books are now sold nationally and have been successful with people of every age.

In 1976 and 1977, she wrote for Hansen House, and wrote for Nasta Industries and Electronic Courseware. She has been the speaker at various events, such as the Boston Globe Book Festival and the Texas Music Educator's convention, and has been interviewed on radio shows and television programs. She has also been featured on the front page of The Ashville Times and in many other newspapers (i.e., the Chicago Defender, the Cincinnati Enquirer, Naples News, New York Times, and Traverse City Record Eagle).

Nancy Poffenberger presents hands-on workshops around the country using her keyboards, recorders and xylophones, along with the books she writes. These are perfect for children, teachers or retirement centers.
